Documents required for a Brazil visa

• Passport

  Original Passport with the validity of minimum six months from the date of return and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping. Please Note: Attach copy of first & last page of the passport along with all old passports (if any).

• Visa Application Form

  Visa application form has to be filled online and printout of the confirmation duly signed by the applicant in blue ink only has to be submitted along with the application. Please Note: Applicants have to upload all the documents along with their signature while filling up the online visa application form and consulate will accept the applications once all the documents have been uploaded online.

• Photo Specification

  Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm). Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

• Covering Letter

  Original Covering-Letter from company on its letter head stating the applicant's name, designation, passport number, tenure in the present company and purpose & duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory in blue ink only along with the company seal and addressed to – Consulate General of Brazil, Mumbai. Please note: a) Company Profile and Day to Day business meeting schedule should also be mentioned. b) The letter should be in one page only. c) Cover Letter must have following clause : "We wish to confirm that Mr/Ms………(Name of the applicant), is a bonafide employee of (company name), India since (date) and is currently designated as ……. Mr/Ms. ………(Name of the applicant) is required to travel to Brazil to attend only business meetings and will not be providing technical assistance, training or knowledge transfer to (company name) Brazil employees at our office starting from (date)."

• Invitation Letter & Agenda

  Original Notarized Invitation Letter from Brazilian host / inviting company in Portugal and English language with their CNPJ number, stating a brief about the company, applicant's name, designation and purpose & duration of stay along with the sponsorship details. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory in blue ink only with his name & designation. Please Note: a) A Day-to-day agenda for business meetings has to be submitted in original along with the invitation letter. b) Invitation letter should be in one page only. c) Invitation Letter must have following clause : " Mr/Ms(Name of the applicant), is a bonafide employee of (company name), India since (date) and is currently designated as_ Mr/Ms.(Name of the applicant) is required to travel to Brazil to attend only business meetings and will not be providing technical assistance, training or knowledge transfer to (company name) Brazil employees at our office starting from(date)."

• Financials

  a) Original personal Bank Statement for last six months till date with Bank seal and signature. b) Copy of ITR for last 3 years with Notary and Mantralaya.

• Airline Reservation

  Ticket with Airline stamp. Please Note: Travel dates must show departure at least with the gap of 10 working days from the date of submission.

  Applicant has to carry the Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.
• Please Note

  a) Copy of address proof with Notary and Mantralaya has to be submitted along with the application. b) Embassy may ask for any additional document.
